  2019 NORTHEAST-10 ALL-ROOKIE TEAM (COACHES): Jackson Ostrowsky, SCSU,...Ostrowsky had an historically incredible season for the Owls after assuming the starting quarterback spot three games into the season. Ostrowsky became the second Owls' quarterback to throw for 2,000 yards as a freshman, joining Steve Armstrong, as he finished the season with 2,185 yards on 155-185 passing (54.58%) with 17 touchdowns in seven games for a 312 yards-per-game average.

Ostrowsky's 2,185 passing yards were the most in a season since Kevin Lynch totaled 2,222 in 2011 while his 17 touchdown passes were the most since Lynch threw for 24 in 2010. Ostrowsky was also one of five freshman quarterbacks in NCAA Division II football to pass for over 2,000 yards, and the only one to do so in fewer than nine games. In addition, he is the only Southern quarterback in program history to throw for 400 yards in two games in the same season. - Southern Connecticut State Football

  2019 ALL-NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): WR Brandon Swain-Price, SCSU,...Swain-Price made an immediate impact in his first season with the Owls after transferring from NE10 foe Assumption College. He finished an impressive senior campaign with the Owls with 49 receptions for 792 yards and 10 touchdowns while also leading the team with 88 yards per game – all team-highs. His 10 touchdowns were the most in a single-season since Jim Lukowiak had 10 in 2004 and ranked 20th among all NCAA Division II receivers. Swain-Price's 49 catches and 792 yard were the most in a season for an Owls receiver since Devante Jenkins in 2011. Connecticut, Senior, WR, Stoughton, Mass.,...In the Owls' 31-17 win against Bentley, Swain-Price recorded 10 receptions for 201 yards and two touchdowns to become just the sixth wide receiver in program history to hit the 200-yard mark. For Swain-Price, he became the sixth wide receiver to post 200 yards in a game, joining Willie Epps, Jeff Cupe, Chris Ortiz, Jim Lukowiak and Ty Marshall. Connecticut, Fr., QB, Mount Pleasant, Mich.,...Ostrowsky had another incredible performance, this time against Saint Anselm as he tagged the Hawks for a conference-best 411 yards and three touchdowns while completing 28-of-56 passing attempts. He also accounted for another 16 yards on the grounds. With his performance in Manchester, Ostrowsky becomes the first SCSU quarterback to pass for 400 yards twice in one season, and only the second QB to do it twice in his career. In addition, his 1,574 passing yards leads the NE10, despite playing two fewer than the second-best passer and three-fewer games than the student-athlete that ranks third in passing. - Northeast-10 Conference Football
